Fitness/ Weight Loss Journal – Day 7 – Tiring Tuesday

Fitness Journal

It was a tiring day today – emotionally. And like I said earlier, emotional roller coaster lead me to wrong food choices.

Well I did not do blunders – just had that regular sweet tea instead of black coffee. I was already feeling bitter, did not want to make my mouth bitter too. And then at night while my daughter ate her white sauce pasta, dug my spoon into it 🙁 . Bad habits die hard!

Well I did win though! From my emotions 🙂

Once again I managed to not waste my time in front of TV to seek solace from my bad mood. I did more meaningful things to cheer myself up. So basically end of day those were the two tiny mistakes on my diet today.

After taking the yoga class in the morning went for a lower body workout at the gym. So was super happy with my workout too. Evening was mostly strolling though I managed to hit a little more than my 10k steps goal.

Learning, the day may be bad… but by doing the right things you can make it good. Your choices can have a huge impact on how you feel at end of day. Because when you make good choices you feel good about yourself.

Another thing I wanted to share here today was pertaining the eating habits of our children. Many a times we force them to finish all on their plate. Now firstly, give them the choice to decide how much to put on their plate. Secondly, if they happen to choose more than they can eat do not force them to eat it all. We all make wrong choices, don’t we?

But as an adult I have realised that when I try to finish the food on my daughter’s plate just to save it from wasting, I am still wasting it. My body did not need it and I just dumped into myself because I know how to dump beyond capacity. Body is not a dustbin and me overeating will not fill up someone starving. Just good eating habits that need to be nurtured right from the start.

Hope you had a great day! Do share your thoughts I would love to hear from you.

Love and Light!
